Natural Learning
Natural Learning is the thinking that, when children learn outdoors, not only are they having more fun by learning through play, but they also learn more effectively through nature and full body engagement, learn important life and communication skills, and fight against obesity all at the same time.
This program aims to promote Natural Learning and provide the curriculum, resources and mentors to better equip our children and community and further nurture their connection with nature and education.
Natural learning curriculum not only provides children and families with a refreshing way to practice math, reading and science, but also learn life skills like growing and sustaining gardens, caring for animals and pushing physical limits.
Outdoor Learning Spaces
It’s important to create safe and natural spaces where children and their families can learn and build that critical relationship with nature freely, independently and as early as possible.
Creating outdoor spaces emulates natural spaces like fields, trails and woods where children and families can fully engage nature without having to worry about their safety or distractions that are prone to urban environments.
This program aims to create these kinds of spaces in underserved areas serving as an oasis of natural science and curiosity for our youth and families.
Community Organization
The Community Organization Program aims to strengthen community bonds and provide support partners, information, instruction and all other resources a community needs to make the reinforcements or changes it sees fit to better the lives of its children and families.
